Humanstuck Erisol fluff

  Your name is Sollux Captor and you are at a county fair.  The only reason you are here is because your friends, Nepeta Lejion and Karkat Vantas, got tired of seeing you mope around and not leaving your house because you were depressed.  It wasn't your normal, mild, bipolar depression; you had a good reason to be so sad.  It was because you had been cheated on by your first love, Aradia Medigo, who ran off with that douche, Equius Zahhak six months ago.  She left you broken and hurt until your second love came around three months ago.  A beautiful, energetic girl named Feferi Piexes.  She was the best thing that had happened to you at the time, she brought you back to life, but then her father, who didn't like you at all since the moment he met you decided to pick up his whole family and move to England a month ago.  You were so sure that you two would be together forever but her father had other plans when his company relocated him and his family.  You are both still seventeen, not old enough to do what you want so she had no choice.  You said goodbye to your love and your heart a month ago and that is what has had you in this rather deep depression since she left you here all alone.  
  You heart was, and still kind of is a pile of dust from both of them stomping on it, Feferi didn't mean to hurt you but her absence has regardless.  Aradia can go fuck herself for dumping you for Zahhak, it still hurts though.  Karkat is staring at you as you think back on this with a frown on your face, half-heartedly watching a happy couple play some carnival games.  Karkat speaks, almost glaring at you, but you can see some concern in his eyes.  "Stop doing that, idiot.  You are NOT slipping away right before a date. A date that I have been planning for a week, a fucking WEEK of my time has gone into this."  You frown a little more, "I'm not doing anything!"   
  You are eager to pull the attention away from the sadness sulking in your chest as you await your mysterious date's arrival with Karkat's partner in crime, Nepeta.  The both of them set this whole date up, you only saw a picture of him and got his name.  His name is Eridan Ampora and he is quite the looker.  You stand straight and look down at the shorter boy, "Why did I agree to thith thtupid idea?" You grumble a little, shoving your hands into the pockets of your jacket, it was a warm evening, but that will easily change when the sun goes down.  "You got the idea for thith from one of your thitty romcomth didn't you?" Karkat stiffens and glares harder, oh lord, here we go. "HEY!  They are NOT shitty!  Just because you don't appreciate them doesn't give you the right to write them off as shitty!  So shut the fuck up before I call off this whole goddamn thing!" he rants, you are sure he would continue if it weren't for the female voice that called his pet name for afar, "Karkitty!  Pawllox!  Over here!"  You swear you see Karkat's eye twitch at the pet name, he never really liked it when Nepeta called him that and you stifle a chuckle as you both turn to see Nepeta smiling, walking towards you.  Karkat and Nepeta had been together for a couple of months now, still that pet name got to him.  
  You also see the fellow she is dragging by the arm, he towers over the petite girl but seems to be struggling to keep up with her fast pace as she makes a bee-line towards you both.  You recognize him as your date, Eridan Ampora and suddenly begin to panic, straightening your jacket that Kanaya had picked out.  She had kindly taken into consideration your favorite color and personality when she picked out the yellow shirt, white jacket, black jeans, and grey beanie when she picked out your outfit for tonight.  Karkat looks at you and smirks, "Oh, so now you decide to give a fuck about this date?  You look fine, stop fussing."  You glare at him over the top of your bi-colored glasses with your blue and brown eyes before sighing as they get closer, smiling and looking gratefully at him.  "Thankth KK... I'm glad you care tho much… even though I act like I don't apprithiate it…" You don't get the chance to finish because he stops you, he actually smiles, "Stop apologizing, fuckass, and enjoy the night with your date, you can thank me later." You simply smile and turn to the two teens that just arrived in front of the two of you.
  Nepeta is grinning ear to ear happily and can't seem to stay still as she looks on the verge of squealing with excitement, "Hi, you guys!  You two are going to have so much fun!" She looked like she wanted to say more but Karkat gently grabbed her arm and pulled her away, "have fun you two, don't do anything stupid."  He calls over his shoulder as he pulls Nepeta away, she pouts a little but you turn your attention back to the boy in front of you.  He is tall just like you, actually a little taller, maybe by an inch, he is stunning, more attractive than in the picture you saw, he has grey eyes that look almost like crystals that are framed by rectangular glasses, a sharp face with short, styled light brown hair with a blonde streak in the middle on the front of his hair.  He is wearing a white shirt under a black jacket and a pair of dark purple jeans.  
  You got a little information from Karkat that he is a competing surfer and swimmer.  He looked fit, having rather strong arms.  He is obviously handsome; he seems to ooze confidence, the very thing you lack.  You have black hair and kind of scrawny for seventeen, mostly because you don't play any sports.  Hell, you don't even watch sports!  What are sports?  You sure as hell don't know.  You like your alone time; you rather be alone, coding all day than outside.  Not a peoples' person, never were, a nerd from birth, a gamer since you could hold a controller.  Instead of rock or country, you prefer your dubstep and pop.  He strikes you as a lover of soft rock.  
  You don't realize that you are staring at him.  He shifts on his feet, growing uncomfortable; after all, you seem to have become transfixed on him. "Um…" He flicks his eyes away from your awkward stare and you snap out of it when you realize that you have been staring at him for the past minute or so and blush madly, looking away and mumbling, "Thorry…" You feel like a complete idiot, what the hell were you doing?!  You just stared at him like creep, making the poor guy uncomfortable, shit!  Oh no!  You have to start this over before this gets any more awkward.  You look up and smile, "Hey, I'm Thollux."  He looks back at you and smiles a perfect, white smile, "Hi, I'm Eridan."  You sigh with relief on the inside, saved.  You notice the accent, it sounds Irish to you.  "Are you Irith?" You ask.  He nods, "Yeah, lived there up until about a year ago, then moved here."  
  You can't stop looking at him, you have to pull your eyes away and look over your shoulder at Karkat who is sitting at a table about thirty feet away with Nepeta hanging on his arm with her heading affectionately resting on his shoulder, he notices and waving you away and you look back at Eridan, who seemed have taken the brief moment to inspect you, he snaps back instantly and smiles again, "So!  Wuh-what do you wuh-want to do?  I see some fantastic games over there."  He points to some games and you look, "Thoundth good!  Let'th go!"  You both begin walking towards the games, you feel like this will turn out to be a really good date.  
  You spent the next couple of hours playing, laughing, talking, and flirting.  You are pretty sure the grin that your face is now permanent as you both sit down for some carnival food.   You got some chicken tenders and fries with honey mustard, your favorite.  He sits down next to you, on his plate is a hotdog topped pickle relish and mayo, not your first choice, but you guess it sounds good as you smile at him.  You had offered to pay but he insisted.  You smile and say thanks as you pour the honey mustard over everything, popping a few fries into your mouth.  You focus on your crispy fries as they crunch in your mouth which seem to need an extra dose of honey mustard to you and pour a little more honey mustard on the fries still on your plate and you hear a laugh and turn to the source, your date.  He smiles at you, "wuh-well, someone enjoys their honey mustard!"  You nod, swallowing before you talk, "yeah, alwayth did, I like regular honey even more."  He nods and begins eating his hotdog, looking at you over the top of his rectangular glasses, you push yours up, he seemed to take notice of your different colored eyes but doesn't say anything, but it seems to have captured his interest.  
  You blush lightly as you turn your head and direct your eyes to your food, you are satisfied with the amount of honey mustard lathering your fries in it before chucking them into your mouth and eat through the rest of them, you notice him continuously flicking his eyes at yours, taking brief looks before resuming to consumption of his hotdog until there was no such thing to eat anymore.  
  You soon finish your own fries and turn to him, he is still looking curiously at your shielded eyes, you say something to break him from his trance; "Um… can I help you with thomething?"  He snaps out of his trance at the sound of your voice and blushes, he seemed to be thinking about something, you have no doubt that it was about your blue and brown eyes.  You usually find peoples' stares irritating; they always ask if they are colored contacts, one of the reasons you wear these bi-colored glasses, the other is because they are awesome and no one can tell you any different.  He shrugs, still blushing a little as he brings his eyes back to you, "Oh, um, sorry about that.  I didn't mean to stare… Those aren't colored contacts right?  I don't think they are.  Those are some peculiar eyes you got there."  You nod, "yeah, I get that a lot…"  He smiles and reaches to remove your glasses, "May I see those beautiful eyes?"  You blush and lean so he doesn't have far to reach, "Thure…"  
  He removes your glasses and takes in your eyes as you look into his, he shifts a little closer and you shift too, his mouth opens slightly as he stares into your strange eyes, he seems to have become lost in them, leaning in just a little more, you blush a bit more because his face isn't more than five inches from yours, he realizes and blushes a bit himself, smiling a little sheepishly.  "Hey…" He chuckles at his own weak attempt to break the awkwardness, you chuckle too, smiling a bit, "Hey."  You find yourself wanting to kiss him and ponder asking him, you come out of your train of thought and look at him to find he is blushing a bit more as he talks, "Can I… kiss you?"  
  You blush brightly but nod, leaning a bit more as he leans a bit more, his eyes closing as your lips meet, your eyes close and you shift closer, kissing him as he kisses back, losing track of everything else, not hearing anything else except your own heightened heartbeat.  The kiss remained soft; deepening a bit from how it started when you both separate, you both smile at each other, blush slowly disappearing.  "What now?" You ask, he takes a moment to think, looking at a roller coaster taking off, lights shining along the side to reveal a dragon, hidden during the day, but appearing at night to take its flight.  He looks back at you, "I don't know-wuh, but I have a feelin it is goin to be pretty damn good, how-wuh about you?"  You smile, taking your own moment to admire the brave, bright dragon and look back at him, "I don't know either, but I know it is going to be great."
